The myth of what dyslexics are, or ADHD people are, is that you're stupid. You're an idiot. And it's like no, I'm not. I'm not. >> I feel like I get pushed down in this hole where you're going to just live in a studio apartment forever. >> There's a really big internal struggle to have something that hits on your confidence everyday. You know, I'm not going to get to go to college, I'm not going to get to do the things that everyone else does. It's just not gonna happen for me. >> We are doing a road trip. We're doing like the top half of the United States. >> We're gonna be interviewing people, seeing sights, doing great adventures. >> Interviewing a bunch of different people that inspired me, Noah and Nicole. >> People who have really overcome some challenges that we might face. To me, a little bit about where we were at our age. >> I came up at a time when we would not be doing a television show like this or even anything to be recorded because of the stigma. >> It was hard. By the time I got to your age, there was still a huge amount of shame. >> Older people coming up to me like, baby, you just didn't have a good enough teacher. You could read. That kind of thing. >> I love hearing people's stories. Cuz everyone has a story, everyone has something that makes them unique and makes them who they are, that's really important for me on this trip. >> It's not that I'm thinking worse than anybody else. If you were to evaluate me on the scale that I'm really good at, I'd blow you away. Most notably, the biggest project that I've worked on, I redesigned a user interface for professor Stephen Hawking. >> My God. >> He was diagnosed with dyslexia, and he went to Harvard. He, you know, really, did something that I didn't even know was possible. >> You're on this trip, just go everywhere. Whatever happens, be open to everything. Just say yes. >> I didn't know all these amazing people exists and I didn't know all these amazing places existed. >> It's not about learning to live with your ADHD learning to live in spite of it, it's learning to thrive with it and to celebrate it. >> What I wanna walk away with is just courage to be myself and I guess hope is the next one. >> That's one reason I'm doing this because I really wanna be okay with who I am.
