About Amber
- Growing up, I enjoyed redesigning my room, which prompted me to consider pursuing fashion merchandising so that I could design store layouts for different seasons.
- The college I wanted to attend didn’t provide that educational path, so I decided to pivot to my other interest of working with children.
- I earned my degree in education from Ohio University.
- I began my teaching career with a focus on empowering underserved kids, bringing my whole self to Columbus City schools.
- Over the years, I've taught kindergarten, first, and third grades, finding my niche with third graders who spend all day learning with me.
