About Stephen
- I grew up in New Orleans, Louisiana.
- After graduating with a bachelor’s degree in history from Emory University, I went on to earn my law degree from Yale Law School.
- After law school, I moved to New York and spent a couple of years working for the WilmerHale law firm before realizing that I wanted to transition from law into business.
- I joined Frontier Strategy Group as its first chief product officer and moved up to CEO as the company grew—I led the company in helping leaders in large organizations be more effective in their jobs.
- I left my role with Frontier Strategy Group to pivot into the education sector—I knew I wanted to make an impact in education, I just wasn’t quite sure yet what that would look like.
- I eventually came up with the idea to partner with business schools in order to make business education more accessible through online formats.
- With that idea in mind, I reached out to my network and partnered with a group of peers to create ExecOnline.
- As CEO, I lead ExecOnline in our mission to help business leaders get the training they need to become more successful.
