Defining Moments

How I responded to discouragement

  • THE NOISE

    Messages from Society in general:

I didn't hear discouragement but I felt it from the locals when they did not call upon me for my services when HVAC problems needed solutions.

  • How I responded:

I worked hard to learn and get good at what I do in my trade with experience in the field and I started to build a word of mouth reputation throughout other regions in customers homes. After 3 solid years of hard long days, I have built a strong customer base and now those original nay sayers are beginning to request my services back home. Feels amazing to finally be needed in my local community.
