About Jenny

I grew up in New York City, and my love for this city fueled my desire to give back through public service.
After grad school, I applied to every job I could in the New York City administration, eventually landing a role at the Department of Transportation.
Even though I knew nothing about transportation, I threw myself into the role and kept showing up with curiosity and drive.
I spent nearly ten years working my way up in public service under Mayor Bloomberg, taking on more and more responsibility.
I transitioned from city government to Bloomberg Philanthropies, where I now oversee our education funding in career and technical education.
I’ve built a career around being open, taking chances, and working hard—especially on the tasks that seem small but turn out to matter most.
