About Peter
- I graduated from UCLA with a degree in political science and history.
- I started my career working in government and politics, working as a legislative aide to the Assembly Majority Leader in Sacramento, California.
- I transitioned into finance and spent most of my career in investment banking.
- In 2009, I became the first chief financial officer for the University of California system.
- After five years as the CFO for the UC system, I became the president of the ECMC Foundation.
- As president of the foundation, I spearheaded the mission to inspire and facilitate improvements that affect educational outcomes for underserved populations.
- I’m now retired but I still stay active in meaningful projects through volunteering, philanthropy, and board positions.
