About Alex
- While it was rare to have a computer in the home in the 70s, my dad was able to bring one home from work, so I started developing an interest in computers from a young age.
- In middle school, I gained more experience building computers for a company.
- I went to college to continue pursuing that interest while also looking for a student job in the technology space—I started as a help desk technician and then worked my way up to server administrator.
- I graduated with my bachelor’s degree in computer forensics and a minor in cybersecurity.
- After graduating, I built my career with a steady stream of computer jobs.
- I’m currently working as the chief information officer for the City of Hopkins.
- In addition to my work for the City of Hopkins, I’m also an adjunct professor at Metro State University.
