About Aisha
- From as early as I can remember, I’ve wanted to be a doctor.
- I earned my bachelor’s degree in biology and then continued on to medical school.
- While in medical school, I helped one of my mentees navigate the healthcare system through her pregnancy, which inspired me to want to work in adolescent healthcare.
- I completed my residency in family medicine and decided that I wanted to provide full-scope adolescent medical care for young people.
- I built my career as both a family medicine physician and community health advocate.
- In 2017, I opened Dream Youth Clinic, a no-cost, youth-led health clinic based in Oakland, California.
