About Danesha
- After high school, I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do—I wanted to go to college but didn’t have the resources to pay for it, so the military seemed like a good place to find my drive and passion.
- I joined the military and worked as an automated logistical specialist for the U.S. Army for about six years.
- When I transitioned from active duty to the reserves, I decided to go to school for my business degree.
- I went to Colorado State University Denver for business.
- I was doing start-up work for smaller businesses but eventually decided I wanted to transition into IT for a better work-life balance as a new mom.
- I now work as an operations specialist for Tortuga AgTech, where we’re using technology to build a healthier society through smarter farming.
