About Donna
- My parents purchased our farm back in 1968 and my family has been farming it ever since.
- I ran a consulting company for a while, which allowed me to gain experience in rules, regulations, and government policy.
- In 2014, we started Common Ground Mobile Market and Mobile Food Hub, a mobile farmer’s market.
- Common Ground started with seven senior centers and has since grown to deliver local produce bi-weekly to 35 sites in multiple counties.
- In addition to my work with Common Ground, I also serve on several boards, including the National Farmers Union policy committee, the Kansas Farmers Union, and the Kansas State Extension Board.
