- I always thought I wanted to become a teacher until my junior year of high school when I discovered my passions for government and journalism.
- I graduated from Ball State University with a double major in political science and journalism.
- After college, I got an internship with the Indiana State Senate and then was hired full-time.
- I took a break from work to have my first child.
- When I rejoined the workforce, I went into workforce development and have been in this field since!
- I currently work for EmployIndy as the vice president for K-12, where I help underserved and underemployed youth and young adults find their career path.
