My path in life has been direct

My mother, grandmother, and aunt were all teachers, so I was immersed in the world of education from a young age.
2.
I was excited to have choice and agency in my own educational journey—I chose to go to a magnet program in middle school and then auditioned as a musician for the Las Vegas Academy for high school.

I went to the University of Utah for college, inspired by recruiters and my desire for new experiences.
4.
I initially went to college to study music, but I switched to elementary education to broaden my opportunities for teaching.
5.
A tough first teaching job tested me, but classroom management training turned the experience around and fueled my love for education.
6.
I transitioned from teaching music to working as an after-school coordinator.
7.
My passion for accessible education drove me to pursue a master's degree and create Cozy Rainbow Podcast to inspire kids through fun learning tools.
