I work remotely. Every day, I get on a meeting with other colleagues to discuss projects and the ins and outs of it all. We also talk about processes and troubleshooting.

Advice for Getting Started

Here's the first step for everyone

Take as many jobs as you can. Be creative and find ways to gain experience, whatever they may be. Do informational interviews to learn more about different jobs. Volunteering and socializing can give a huge boost as well.

Understanding that it will never be 50/50. There will never be a perfect balance. Sometimes some things will just be more important and you need to own it and find what works for you.
