Milestones

My road in life has taken me all over.
Started in the Navy at the USNA in Annapolis though decided not to pursue as a career.
Took a year in Israel upon departure to explore and grow.
Returned to school to study accounting followed by Big 8 (now Big 4-EY) employment. Pursued CPA.
Returned to school attending Wharton for my MBA upon departing job.
Relocated to the midwest due to spouse's desire to attend school in Madison, WI.
After departing from a larger accounting firm (Grant Thornton), opened a systems consulting / training practice, which led to joining a franchise group, which led to further entrepreneurial experiences.
Had been adjunct instructing and serving on boards for multiple years, ended up taking a full-time academic role, followed by getting a second Masters and Doctorate.
Continued entrepreneurial and educational endeavors. Some more successful than others. Now in South Carolina on a tenure track position and pursuing other business interests. Published LinkedIn book.
