Messages from Myself:
Physical size vs. the need for physical confrontation at times to accomplish a goal (i.e. arresting someone who does not comply with lawful authority).
How I responded:
Learn alternatives in gaining compliance without injury to self and/or others. Simply talking someone into compliance is better than having to use physical force. However, there will be times that require employment of tactics to accomplish an arrest or compliance. And that could lead to the ultimate use of deadly force which should be a LAST RESORT in all cases.
Experiences and challenges that shaped me
Life in general is a "learning curve" where you will be faced with issues that are both legal and practical in finding a solution and doing your job. Education and learning is something that teaches you issues and offers solutions.
