How I responded:
I haven't really been on the receiving end of a lot of discouragement and I can only remember hearing that one time. But, it made me look at myself and realize, I'm not creative enough. I needed to let go and not be so linear!
Experiences and challenges that shaped me
I didn't have any hurdles growing up and I really don't believe being a first generation college student is a hurdle. But it's the only option listed that somewhat matches.
