Life & Career Milestones

I've taken a lot of twists and turns

  • 1.

After my freshman year, I went to a different city and took some summer courses at a different college. Just what I needed!

  • 2.

After getting my master's degree from gsu, I worked another year or two in Atlanta, and then took off overseas, and have been here for 30+ years

Defining Moments

How I responded to discouragement

  • THE NOISE

    Messages from Teachers:

You can't succeed without a college degree

  • How I responded:

Despite not succeeding the first time or two at getting a degree, I buckled down and did it. do it when it is right for you. Take a semester or year off. Do what you need to get your head in the right place in order to finish.
