Defining Moments
How I responded to discouragement
THE NOISE
Messages from Society in general:
Insurance is "boring" or "uninteresting".
How I responded:
If someone spent a week with me, it would be clear from day one that my career in Risk Control/Insurance is one of the most interesting jobs you have never heard of! I would challenge anyone to get a better understanding of the opportunities in the field of Commercial Insurance. There are so many avenues that one can take to find an engaging career. I might be biased, but take some time looking at Risk Control/Risk Management/Loss Control/Safety Engineering.
