Milestones

My road in life has been direct.
Starting a career at a very young age and sticking with the same industry was a challenge in the sense that I was concerned if I was taking the easy way out instead of exploring options.
Studying abroad was great because it broadened my options, but made it more difficult to decide if I was on the right course.

Advice for Getting Started

Here's the first step for everyone

I would highly recommend using social tools to identify thought leaders and social networks / events in whatever industry you are interested in - LinkedIn is a great first step for many industries. Being able to identify valuable skill sets and trending topics will help you understand your development goals. Networking is another great tool that will enable you to meet people who can aid you in this process.
