Milestones

My road in life took a while to figure out.
May 1997 - Graduated from Nacogdoches High School.
August 1997 - Started my Freshman year at Stephen F. Austin State University.
May 2007 - Graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University. I was in and out of school due to poor grades. I worked 50 hours a week and went to school full time. I do not recommend this!
June 2007 - Moved to Austin, Texas and started working at the PetSmart PetsHotel as an Assistant Manager.
May 2008 - I was hired into an entry-level position as an Administrative Associate at the Ferguson Structural Engineering Lab at The University of Texas at Austin.
March 2014 - March 2015 Massage school at The Lauterstein-Conway Massage School. I am currently a licensed massage therapist and do this job for fun and extra money.
November 2017 - I am now a Senior Administrative Associate with the Office of Strategy and Policy at The University of Texas at Austin. This is, by far, the most challenging and rewarding experience.
My next goal is to take some Project Management courses so that I continue to learn, grow, and move up the ranks.
Keep following my journey

"When I was 18 and a fresh high school graduate I told my mom that I wanted to be a Massage Therapist. She looked at me dead in the eyes and said that would be a terrible mistake because I would never make enough money. "
