Defining Moments
How I responded to discouragement
- THE NOISE - Messages from Peers: - People would talk about lack of career advancement in the construction industry as a female.
- How I responded: - Work hard and prove yourself.
Experiences and challenges that shaped me
- During the housing downturn I lost my job and had to seek employment outside the industry. I worked through the downturn and now have my previous position back and truly appreciate my company, work and the industry I work in.
