Milestones

My road in life took a while to figure out.
When I graduated high school I wanted to become a nurse.
I applied to the nursing program with 3.5 nursing GPA and it was not high enough to get accepted.
I did not give up, I applied to nursing program again, I still did not get in.
At this point I just wanted to give up. I had to find "a new approach to an old dream'.
I switched my major to sociology.
I knew I wanted to help people, sociology gave me a platform.
Even though I did not pursue nursing. Sociology turned out to be the next best thing.

Day to Day

A fulfilling day for me is when an teen walks through the teens center and they learn that they do not have to become an product of their environment. It is not where you come from but the final destination.
