Write interesting and effective press releases, prepare information for media kits, and develop and maintain company internet or intranet web pages.

Establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients, government officials, and media representatives and use these relationships to develop new business opportunities.

Internships are the key to entering the job market. Focus on getting them in the summers.  Join student groups focused on your major, they often have relationships with employers. Find a mentor who works in the field you would like to break in to. Use your college's career services as much as possible. Make an appointment. 

Make grants to non-profits, institutions or initiatives that are working to reduce educational disparities at scale.  Sometimes this requires coalition-building, working to change policy, improving practice, or providing additional supports to students through the organizations you fund.
