How I responded to discouragement

  • THE NOISE

    Messages from Society in general:

Early in my career, when I was looking to become an underwriter, I went through the interview process with several different underwriting units. I was told that without any experience there would be no way I would become an underwriter.

  • How I responded:

You and only you know your strengths and weaknesses. Do not let people set your boundaries and stay focused on your goals.
