Milestones

My road in life has been direct.
I graduated from ASU. Two weeks later I was on the journey for my Master's degree.
I decided to change jobs every 12 to 18 months to increase my exposure and build my base.
I worked harder than most to accomplish what some viewed as interesting but too hard to get.
I prayed and believed that doors would be opened that no man could close and they were.

Day to Day

An abundance of meetings where problems are being solved and innovative solutions found. A great day occurs when progress on identified plans are made and no emergencies surface that deter forward momentum. That day is made even better when thanks is given from the beneficiaries of the hard work being done.

Advice for Getting Started

Here's the first step for college students

Take your education seriously. It may not appear that all assignments apply to what you want to be when you grow up, but look beyond the assignment at the lesson, discipline, and overall objective of the ask. I still think of skills learned during my Writing for the Professions course at ASU now and it has been over 25 years since I took the class. Take your professors seriously. They have life experiences that you don't and a vantage point that will benefit you so listen.
