Advice for Getting Started

Here's the first step for college students

It's important to have writing and communication skills as a good foundation. While you're in college obtain experience in the profession whether it's through an internship, a part-time job, or as a volunteer with a student organization. You can leave college with work experience so you can step into that first professional job with confidence.
