Defining Moments
How I responded to discouragement
THE NOISE
Messages from Myself:
For the most part, my family and friends were supportive of my career path. During college, made many friends who would be entering the same profession and it was great to be on the journey together.
How I responded:
Find your passion and then do everything you can to make it work. Along the way, choose mentors who could provide guidance and sage advice. But ultimately, it's your career and you have to take the lead and make things happen.
Experiences and challenges that shaped me
My first job out of college did not pay well, so I worked a second job the first year out of college. I took that first job to gain experience and worked there for a year. Then I looked for that second job that was more financially rewarding!
