Defining Moments
How I responded to discouragement
THE NOISE
Messages from Myself:
All kinds of negative things - too countless to recap!
How I responded:
Listen to yourself. While you may not know what or where you will go - just go!
Experiences and challenges that shaped me
I actually know what it's like to eat government cheese and crackers! I was committed to myself.
Lived in a rough area of town and raised by abusive alcoholic parents. I made a choice to get out.
Slow learning - it was hard to focus (pre ADD days).
I had to figure everything out on my own.
