I track prospective students for a small, private college through data entry.
I would get up early, eat breakfast, and then travel to a locale for morning training (running) with or without my team. I would return home and do strength / conditioning exercises with my team or alone, prepare a nutritious lunch, and then rest or work on my personal blog that helps runners follow their dreams. Then, I would do my afternoon run, followed by whatever injury prevention measures / therapeutic exercises necessary. Then I would make dinner and spend time with family and pets.
Here's the first step for high school students
Consider your long-term goals and make a plan. Do not become stuck in something that seems comfortable if you are unhappy.
"You are always injured. You should really reconsider whether you are cut out to be a professional runner."
