Making sure you concentrate on your schoolwork is paramount. However, internships are equally important. As someone who reviews resumes, I know that it is important to have a good GPA, but that being said experience is equally important.

My parents weren't familiar with the American college system. I had to do research on my own and learn for myself. It's not that complicated.
