Advice for Getting Started

Here's the first step for college students

Try and identify the type of work you want to do within the Finance world and experiment via internships. This field is very large and each insititution could have many layers of Finance opportunities. Do you see yourself working in a traditional Financial Analyst role forecasting revenues / expenses or are you more looking for special projects with little repeatable work? Asking yourself these questions will help you understand your strengths and where you will be happiest in a permanent role.
