My road in life has been direct.
I didn't have the funds for college and applied for a job at the bank.
I got pregnant and my college days were put on hold.
At the bank, I enjoyed the customer interaction and was inquisitive to learn more at the next level.
I was surrounded by great leaders that saw my talent and afforded me the opportunity to grow.
My journey included starting at an entry level position and working my way up the ladder.

Day to Day

Not every day is the same, but they are all exciting! Our team is actively engaged in all facets of activities that touch bank branches. We work with various teams (security, fraud, operations, sales, etc.) to ensure we update procedure accordingly considering impacts to branch associates, external customers, and internal partners and to balance these considerations with a risk focus.

Advice for Getting Started

Here's the first step for high school students

Determine if you enjoy writing? Do you like interacting with people? Are you a critical thinker? Do you view options from different perspectives and are able to articulate pro's and con's of an issue? These are some things that come to mind that might be helpful in a role like mine.
