In the area I grew up in most people never aspired to have a corporate job; they all said it could not happen. I made sure I was not going to fall under that same trap and I decided I wanted this life.
How I responded:
Make your own decisions stay focused on the things you want and don't let anyone dictate what you will be or how you will get there. Only you can be the captain of your own destiny.
Experiences and challenges that shaped me
Being a first generation Mexican, the language was very difficult; my parents did not know the language and I had to learn it the hard way, but hard work and perseverance always pays off.
