Being Creative

Day to Day

You would see us recording music in our studio as currently we are making our upcoming album that will be titled "Rubik's Cube". Ideally we get together and run through ideas and then write the arrangements for the songs and record them. A lot of our music and arrangements comes from trying new things and experimentation. When we finish recording the album we plan to get back to rehearsing and performing. On occasion we are given projects for television.

Skills & Qualities Beyond School

I think the most important skill and maybe not a skill but a characteristic is fearlessness. Fear stops an artist from making good work and getting to a really deep place that is needed to make truly great creations. Other than that we learn as we go along. We are all self taught musicians and Denis Orynbekov, our lead singer, is also our sound engineer as he managed to learn the craft from recording our material. Even though we have taken some music lessons, we did not go to school.

Advice for Getting Started

Here's the first step for high school students

You just have to write and perform your music. Record everything that comes to your head and do not be afraid of criticism. In fact try to enjoy criticism if you can. And most importantly do not fear rejection and remember that there will always be someone who does what you do maybe better than you, but what you conceive as a songwriter is yours forever, and thats a beautiful thing.
