A great day at work would have to be when I'm focused in to my work with my favorite playlist bumping in my headphones. Ideally, the fewer interruptions the better but that is rarely the case in a fast paced work environment. I have become accustomed to being able to pop in and out of focus on a project when I need to. Being able to help others while still accomplishing my set duties is a big part of the work day. If we work as a team, we succeed as a team.
Advice for Getting Started
Here's the first step for high school students
Prepare yourself. College is a fun and exciting place to learn and grow but do NOT think it's all fun and games. I cannot tell you how many sleepless nights I've been through to pull last minute projects together. There's no reason to be all about nook and no fun but find a balance. Have the determination and confidence in yourself to be able to know when to work and when to have fun. Confidence is key. If you have confidence then you can do whatever you set your mind to.
