Milestones

My road in life took a while to figure out.
Grew up in a middle class family where my parents provided a solid foundation of love and support.
Attended college, majoring in broadcast journalism and minoring in theatre.
Following some eye-opening internships, decided journalism was not the ideal career path for me.
Graduated & did some soul searching. Held a few food service jobs, which were humbling yet useful.
Took a job at a local university, as an Admissions Counselor.
During my 7+ year tenure in higher ed, realized my passion for advocating the value of education.
Felt limited by the career advancement opportunities available on campus and decided to leave.
Joined a company who's corporate mission parallels my passion for education.

Day to Day

I come in, power up my laptop, and review my task items for the day. Most of my time is spent carrying out any required backend support of marketing products, website content & management, and online events. You can often find me multi-tasking with multiple browsers open on my computer screen. As I like to keep an open line of communication between clients, team members and myself, I regularly check my email so I can effectively address any urgent needs or sudden requests.

Advice for Getting Started
