Milestones

My road in life took a while to figure out.
First I worked in a really small company (about 10 people) and worked at typesetting business cards.
I took another job as a typesetter, but also added on managing account print orders and shipments.
Took a larger scale job handling new larger accounts and getting new label products set up.
Took this job where I manage and implement technology products for various clients.

Day to Day

I check any emails that have come in from the night before and respond to client questions. If any FEDS tasks have been completed, I then QA them before I send the clients confirmations. I usually have 2-3 meetings with clients where I strategize how to best set up their products, based on their needs, and how to help them get the most out of the product. Throughout the day, I will also interact with my pod-mates to get ideas about how to best implement certain parts of the products.

Advice for Getting Started

Here's the first step for high school students

Take all of the elective classes that you can - technology, web design, HTML, marketing, public speaking, etc. Don't slack off and take the easy classes just for credit. Try to keep pushing yourself more. Join in as many clubs and activities as possible to get you used to interacting with all sorts of new people with different personalities and approaches.
