Milestones

My road in life took a while to figure out.
First I did door to door sales because I didn't want to take SATs.
Then I realized I am a creator and signed up for design school.
Then I took the train to Costa Mesa from San Diego for my first real design job.
Then from Newport I traveled back and forth to LA, working as a freelance contractor for MTV.
I moved to Los Angeles and was laid off from MTV during the economic crash.
Then I worked all over town learning about the importance of legal contracts for getting paid.
I then found a full time job at a social media company where I learned the meaning of corporate.
After four years there I left again to be freelancer in hope to create my own studio in the future.

Day to Day

Wear what you want. Designers don't follow dress codes. I Get to my desk with my WACOM tablet and MAC. Find out what clients need what and read all their words describing their focus. Then I use a set of programs to create MAGIC that others use to grow their business.
