How I responded to discouragement
THE NOISE
Messages from Parents:
You should be happy just making money. Why pursue other things if you're making money?
How I responded:
I realized that what I do, and why I do it, is up to me, because at the end of the day I will be the person doing it. I also decided that, keeping that in mind, I am too young and my life is too much mine for me to feel like I have to live it for other people. I wanted to be happy with myself, in my own life.
