My road in life took a while to figure out.
Thought I wanted to major in psychology.
Decided I really love the art of communication and pairing that with telling a story.
Changed my major to Communications with a minor in Business.
Got an internship at a boutique PR agency AND an advertising agency.
Graduated college and continued working full-time at the PR agency.
Decided I needed / wanted to move back to California.
Became a server in Laguna Beach because I couldn't find a job.
Found Column Five and was hired as a Content Strategist. 2.5 years later I am Dir. of Communications.

Director of Communications

I lead a PR team that focuses on distributing visual content to publications in order to build relationships and visibility.

Day to Day

I come in and get to see one of my best friends and the rest of my amazingly inspiring co-workers. I check my email which usually takes up a big chunk of my day.
