Messages from Society in general:
Do you know how hard it is to be a writer?
How I responded:
Writing is easy, and writing well isn't necessarily hard. It takes hard work, sure, and it takes A LOT of work, absolutely. You have to write a hundred dumb things to get anything good. You have to read everything. You have to write everything. BUT...if it's something you love, it's the easiest thing in the world. If you like writing, writing anything and everything you can is beautiful. It's as easy as breathing. And with writing, you can always put fresh air in your lungs and laugh.
