Skills & Education

Advice for getting started

As you start to think about what you want to study and pursue as a career, seek advice from the people who are doing or have done whatever you're interested in. Don't let anyone tell you that you can't do something if they haven't done it themselves. Find the people who have done it, and use their guidance to supplement your passion. You'd be surprised at how many people are very willing to give you advice or have an informational meeting if you just ask!

Here's the path I took:

  • High School

  • Bachelor's Degree

    Mechanical Engineering

    Louisiana State University

  • Graduate Degree

    Business Administration and Management, General

    Harvard Business School

  • Doctorate

    Higher Education Management

    University of Pennsylvania
