Life & Career Milestones
My path in life has been direct
1.
Growing up, I didn’t have much guidance into higher education, as none of my grandparents and neither of my parents went to college.
2.
I started working in restaurants at age 14 and by the time I was 18, I knew I’d need to start supporting myself, so I went straight into the workforce without a college degree.
3.
When I was 20 years old, I got my first administrative office job and started working my way up the corporate ladder from there.
4.
I built my career in business administration and marketing, gaining experience in a variety of industries.
5.
Throughout my career, I would consistently offer my assistance in opportunities outside my existing role in order to upskill, gain experience, and get to the next level.
6.
I joined The DeBruce Foundation in 2019 as an executive project manager and worked my way up to my current role as senior director.
