Advice for getting started
Someone wanted to help me with my business after doubting the fact that I was the one that the expertise came from. I refused his help because he didn't respect me or my work. I'm not here to change minds or hearts. If someone doesn't believe in me, it's on them, not me. Don't allow people to diminish your accomplishments.

My path in life has been direct
1.
I grew up in a very small town in Pennsylvania and always knew that I wanted to leave as soon as I finished high school.
2.
I started college at Tufts University but didn’t enjoy the experience, so I left and continued my education at Spelman College, where I earned my bachelor’s degree in English.
3.
After graduating, I got a job with Progressive Insurance, where I spent 19 years as a claims leader.
4.
I ended up moving back to Pennsylvania to help my mother when she got ill.
5.
I started my business, SHzoom, an auto accident management technology company, in 2014 and have been building it up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania ever since.
