About Randi
- I grew up knowing that I would become an engineer because I was raised with the encouragement to pursue what you’re talented in.
- I earned my bachelor’s degree in computer engineering from the University of Maryland Baltimore County.
- Throughout my education and research, I became more curious and interested in the relationship between young children and the technology they’re growing up with.
- I went back to school and pursued my master’s and doctoral degrees in media, arts, and sciences.
- While in graduate school, I worked in the Personal Robots Group conducting research that intersects human-robot interaction, early childhood education, and artificial intelligence.
- Since graduating, I joined the Algorithmic Justice League as a program manager, where I help to make sure AI is equitable and accessible as technology advances.
