• Inspired by my parents, I pursued a career in medicine, completing my medical school in India.
• At 21, I left India for the United States, where I fell in love, got married, and decided to settle.
• I faced the challenge of retaking exams to practice medicine in the U.S., passing the USMLE steps 1 and 2 on my first attempt.
• A volunteer position at UCLA led to a significant opportunity in clinical research, helping me secure a residency in pediatrics.
• I completed my pediatric residency at Martin Luther King Hospital, part of the Harbor-UCLA program.
• During residency, I had both my children, balancing motherhood and the rigorous demands of medical training.
• I transitioned to private practice in Covina, California, eventually taking over the practice after my mentor's passing.
• To better serve my community, I opened a second office in Chino Hills, where I continue to practice and support the growing needs of the area.
