About Casey
- I was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio.
- I always knew that I wanted to work in the medical field but I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do specifically.
- I started college on a pre-med path but realized during my sophomore year that I wasn’t entirely interested in the work that the medical professionals I’d met were doing.
- I decided to pivot to nursing and went full steam ahead to become a registered nurse.
- I graduated nursing school and started my career as a nurse.
- I currently work for the James Cancer Hospital Surgical and Neurological Intensive Care Unit at Ohio State University’s Wexner Medical Center.
