About Pardis

  • As a kid, I really loved both math and nature—looking back, it makes sense that I’d end up making a career in genetics.
  • I earned my bachelor’s degree in biology from MIT and then went on to graduate school.
  • I earned my master’s degree in human biology and doctorate in biological anthropology from Oxford University.
  • I came back to the U.S. for medical school and earned my medical degree from Harvard University.
  • I’ve since built my career in genomics and infectious disease.
  • I currently work as a professor at Harvard University in the School of Public Health.
  • I also run a lab at the Broad Institute, focused on computational genetics and experimental genomics as it pertains to human health and infectious disease.
