About Marie
- I really enjoyed theater when I was younger and initially thought that that might be something I’d pursue as a career, but I ended up studying English literature when I went to college.
- After graduating, I started my career working in higher education administration.
- I went back to school and earned my MBA in marketing and international business.
- I spent a couple of years working as a marketing manager before transitioning into workforce development.
- I spent six years working for the Indiana Department of Workforce Development, first as the director of adult education programs and then associate chief operating officer for workforce strategy.
- I joined EmployIndy in 2016 as the chief operations officer, then moved up to chief strategy officer, before landing at my current position as president and CEO.
