It’s really hard to make change alone. You need to bring everyone to the table.
About Amber
- I initially went to college to study literature and world history.
- After questioning the value of college, I dropped out for a year to work—when I went back to school, I decided to study economics, policy, and international relations.
- I earned my bachelor’s degree and then went on to graduate school, where I earned a Master of International Affairs degree in economics and political development.
- After grad school, I went to work for the United Nations, where I focused on helping kids have a voice.
- As I gained experience, grew relationships, and built my career, I was able to move onto other problems like helping kids become producers and have more autonomy and agency.
- I eventually landed at the Robin Hood Foundation, where I work as the managing director for the Robin Hood Learning + Technology Fund.
