So I'm Jason Loveless, grew up in Texas originally, lived down in Austin. Went off to a technical college in West Texas, got an associates in wind turbine technology. And then made the jump from wind to solar with Enel. At the time, when I was young and got into it, didn't know how much of an impact it was making. I thought it was just a paycheck and a job that I was doing. My dad kinda pushed me into it. It was kind of a push, I think, out of the house into this college and then to go do something, too. But it was a good driving push. And then, get into it and you start learning how it is helping every day changed everything. Trying to decarbonize where we're heading and everything. And it's a fun field to get into, for sure, knowing that at the end of the day, what we're doing is bettering our planet and our future.

If you're interested in getting into renewable energy, go for it! There's really no end in sight for renewables. I went to technical college for two years and earned my associate degree in order to get into renewable energy. It was a great option for me because you get more hands-on learning, which really prepares you for a career in this field.

After high school, I tried community college but really struggled. I wasn't getting good grades and eventually realized it wasn't for me. I decided to try technical college instead, which was a much better fit.
